Public Policies for Geodiversity in Brazil

A bstract Ensuring the legal protection of geosites, or areas that have relevant geodiversity, and obtaining resources for development programs actions in these territories are two great challenges Brazil. This article presents an analysis Brazilian legislation, seeking to identify responsible bodies, sources funds, how each specific policy can relate promotion geodiversity.
